Yes. All classwork and homework resources are in alignment with the UK Curriculum and our tutors are regularly trained to remain updated with any teaching styles newly implemented in schools.
Our classes mainly take place on Saturdays and Sundays in the mornings and afternoons. Private tuition takes place throughout the week as well as on weekends. Please contact your closest centre to check availability for private tuition. Visit our Centres page to see the exact locations and timetables of our centres.
Typically, our classes hold six students, with a maximum of only eight. This helps to organise our classes so that all students in one class will be working at a similar level. Small group sizes allow individual attention to be placed upon each child.
Our prices are dependent upon your child’s year group. We firmly believe in providing quality at an affordable, competitive price. On average, our classes cost £12.50 per hour. Please see our Pricing page for more details.
Our tutors monitor the progress of each child closely and they can expect to receive feedback on their homework to help them improve their weakest areas as well as understand how they have excelled. The progress of every child is an individual matter, dependent upon their class engagement and homework.
Checking on your child’s progress regularly, our tutors make note of their classwork and homework performance on a weekly basis and this will be accumulated over 6 weeks for a parent review. Call us to book an over-the-phone appointment with one of our managers or education consultants to hear any feedback on your child’s progress.
Yes. Along with a thorough interview process with character and work references, we ensure that all of our tutors hold a valid Enhanced DBS in order to cohere with strict child safety regulations set out by the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB).
Yes, all of our tutors are qualified to teach classes specifically for their corresponding level. Every tutor is fully trained and we refresh their training regularly to update them with any changes in the curriculum. The majority of our tutors are also qualified school teachers who teach their subject throughout the week.
We take from every main exam board in order to cover all main topics found across the National Curriculum, such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC. However, exam preparation and practice questions are specifically chosen for each child’s respective exam board when approaching assessments. This way, they are attuned to their exam board’s specific style of questioning.
Yes, we give on average one hour of homework for each subject every week. This means that students have the chance to consolidate their learning between lessons, and therefore get the most they can out of their time in classes.
